dc.description.abstractThe research was conducted from April 2012 until October 2012 at Fish Hatchery and Breeding Sei Paku Kampar. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of implantation estradiol-17β on fertility, hatching rate and survival rate of green catfish (Mystus nemurus CV). The method used was experimental method and RAL one factor with 3 levels of treatment. The treatment used in this research was implantation estradiol-17β with different dosage of P1= 200 μg/kg of body weight, P2= 400 μg/kg of body weight, P3= 600 μg/kg of body weight and P0= without estradiol-17β as a control respectively. The best dosage of estradiol-17β treatment was obtained at dosage of 400 μg/kg of body weight which fertilization rate 67.13%, hatching rate of 66.98 % and survival rate of day 3, 7 and 14 is 73.85 %, 78.36 % and 79.07 %, The temperature range from 24-280C, DO 2.1-2.3 ppm, pH 7-8 and Ammonia 0.03 – 0.09 ppm.en_US
