| dc.description.abstract | Efforts to improve the quality of education can not be separated from the role of the community and the professional skills of teachers as teacher educators in particular economic subjects. One of the activities that can enhance the professionalism of teachers is the Council of Teacher's Lesson (MGMP). As an organization of subject teachers, the Council of Teacher's Lesson (MGMP) has many roles, one of which is to assist the teaching staff to develop themselves and professionalism. Therefore, it needs to be pursued so that this role can be optimized by MGMP through the implementation of various activities that can be carried out independently and proactive the purpose of this study is to determine how much influence MGMP on Teachers' Professional Competence Economic SMA / MA in the city Pekanbaru.metode the city used to collect data in this research is using questionnaires.
