Abstract
A study on Anura diversity in campus University of Riau Pekanbaru has been conducted from April to June 2013. The objective of this study was to know about the diversity of the
Anura in campus University of Riau Pekanbaru. The method used in this study was Visual Ecounter Survey (VES). 13 species of Anura have been obtained which belong to 5 families: Bufonidae (Bufo asper, Bufo melanosticus, Bufo biporcatus), Ranidae (Rana
erythraea, Rana hosii, Rana chalconata, Rana baramica, Fejervarya cancrivora,
Fejervarya limnocharis), Rhacophoridae (Polypedates leucomystax), Megophryidae
(Leptobrachium hendricksonii), and Microhylidae (Kaloula pulchra, Microhyla achatina). The highest diversity of Anura was found in Arboretum, whereas the lowest was in main office. The species most widely found were Bufo asper 60 individual, and Rana erythraea, 34 individual
